Review

Since a lot has been written about this score already, I do not say much more than that it is an ingenious one, created for a wonderful film. It contains very good action music as well as extremely good anthemic and mystic music. Hans Zimmer re-used some passages from previous scores of his and also “Mars” from Holst's Planets suite. This score has won Hans Zimmer an Oscar nomination (unfortunately not the award itself) and a Golden Globe.
